Festive master classes from “Master Klass”
6 March 2010
‘Master Klass’, the Cultural and Educational Centre, has been in the habit of connecting the things that hardly seemed possible to be connected. Here studies become entertainment and turn into a holiday, and the holidays become the best time for obtaining new knowledge.
On the threshold of 8th March some male members of “Master Klass” decided to congratulate their beautiful female colleagues in an unusual way: they arranged an improvised journey to the East that was both interesting and creative. To the sound of traditional Eastern songs the ladies could choose to attend either a master class in calligraphy, where an experienced teacher would explain the art of complicated hieroglyphics, or they could take part in a tea ceremony and learn about different varieties of tea, the art of making tea and finally, enjoy the wonderful taste of this healthy beverage.
And later, everyone could take part in a master class by the artist Edward Kulish and, under his guidance, create their own masterpieces.
