At the Art Gallery – “Sole Mio” – an exhibition of the Minsk artist Ilona Kosobuko
15 February 2010
Belorusian artist Ilona Kosobuko brought from Minsk “Sole Mio”, which is her own unique feeling of light and sun. It is her take on life, space and feelings in the surrounding world.
The artist presented her works in Ukraine last year within the framework of the collective exhibition of her Belorusian colleagues at the L’viv Art Centre. Pastel colours, reserved tones, delicate lines and lyrical characters – these were the words rightly used by the critics when they were describing the most noticeable features of the creative work of the guest from Belarus. As a result of the artist’s trip to Paris, the exhibition of Ilona Kosobuko’s works has recently been held in her native Minsk.
